BANGLADESH’S Mushfiqur Rahim joined Sakib al Hasan in the forthcoming Pakistan Super League as he was picked by
Karachi Kings during the last day of the players’ draft of the tournament on Tuesday.
Mushfiq, who was allotted in the Gold category, remained unsold in the first day of the draft but the Karachi franchise picked him for $25,000 as a Silver category player.
Mushfiq was the fourth Bangladeshi cricketer to join the inaugural edition of the franchise-based Twenty20 tournament of Pakistan, which will be held in UAE from February 4-23, along with Sakib, Tamim Iqbal and Mustafizur Rahman.
The trio was picked by different franchises on the opening day of the player’s draft as new pace sensation of Mustafizur was
picked by Lahore Qalandars without much delay while explosive opener Tamim Iqbal was picked by Peshwar Zalmi.
